MELINA CARINO
Hi, I’m Melina — a strategic marketer, storyteller, and film fanatic.
-
Throughout my education and career, storytelling has been the driver. At the University of Washington, I studied marketing with a minor in history, learning to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
-
Since then, I’ve worked in marketing and communications roles, developing stories for brands, nonprofits, and impact-focused organizations. I’ve crafted human-centered narrative content across tech and social impact—creating customer-facing videos at SAP and shaping impact-driven campaigns at the Schultz Family Foundation and GMMB. Across roles, I’m known for creativity, communication, initiative, and producing high-quality work.

“To begin with, everything.” - Almost Famous
I love that film and TV are for everyone. They connect people, start conversations, and introduce each of us to worlds we’d never encounter otherwise. I used to worry that studying film would take the magic away. But the real magic, I’ve learned, is in the hard work, attention to detail, and collaboration required to bring a story to the screen.
-
This work reflects my early development as a creative professional: story analysis, strategic thinking, clear communication, and a deep, genuine love of film and TV. Now, I’m ready to put those skills into practice and pursue a career in the film industry.
